Responsibilities
New York Institute of Technology seeks an Assistant Coach for its Women's Lacrosse Program in accordance with NCAA, East Coast Conference and University Rules, Regulations and Policies. Reporting to the Head Coach, this position will perform or assist with a wide variety of coaching and administrative duties in order to accomplish the goals and objectives of the team, Intercollegiate Athletics and the University.

Responsibilities include:

Coaching, scheduling and the recruitment and selection of qualified prospective student athletes.
Support the academic progress of student athletes.
Schedule and conduct practices.
Develop and implement strategies for motivating student athletes as well as monitoring the budget and community relations.
Assist in coordinating operational aspects of the program.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher required; plus 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Lacrosse coaching experience and related experience at a NCAA DI or D II level program preferred.
