Job Summary:

The College of Lake County is looking to for a qualified Head Men's Soccer Coach to join their athletics team. The Head Men's Soccer Coach is responsible for the management and administration of all phases of the Men's Soccer program in a manner that upholds the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the College, Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference, and the NJCAA.

Job Description:

The responsibilities include: Recruiting highly capable students-athletes, conducting practices and off-season workouts, scheduling of matches, travel arrangements, fundraising, championing academic success, and other duties assigned by Athletic Director.

Required Qualification(s)

• Experience as a successful coach.

• Strong communication skills

• Knowledge of NJCAA Bylaws.

• Technical knowledge of the sport of soccer.

• Strong desire to recruit a full and competitive roster.

• A valid driver's license.

Desired Qualification(s)

• Previous college coaching experience.

• Demonstrated experience as an effective recruiter.

• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.

Pay rate: Stipend
