Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Development: With guidance form the Director of Health Career Ladder, you will be expected to develop 6 lessons for the Health Career Ladder Saturday Academy Youth Program, focusing on students from PreK through 5th grade. Ensure lessons actively engage students using the 5Es teaching model (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate) while also incorporating crosscutting concepts shared by the Director of Health Career Ladder.

*Please note that the content created for the lessons does not have to be exclusively focused on health sciences, but the hands-on activities should relate to health sciences. It is essential to limit curriculum planning to a maximum of one hour. This time restriction ensures that other components of our programming can effectively complement and enhance the overall learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
Offer a minimum of 6 curriculum coaching sessions (one per Saturday Academy Session) to WesternU student doctors, guiding them in the development of their health sciences-related activities and assisting in identifying connections between their activities and the language of the 5Es and crosscutting concepts.

Key Responsibilities
Attend at least 2 academies each semester, totaling 4 academies over the course of this contract. The specific academy dates are subject to flexibility, pending team approval, but are anticipated to occur in September, October, January, and February.
